That is what has driven Elaina Thompson, Nicole Chatfield and David Thompson to incorporate ShipShape Professional Yacht Care. Each of these owners brings their own unique talents to the company, but what bonds them is their shared desire to deliver superior customer service to their clientele. Their strong ethics and core values make it possible to deliver; excellent communication, a genuine caring for their clients, extensive knowledge of the marine industry, pride in the services they provide and strong unbending dedication to strive to better themselves and their business. They will be handling every aspect of yacht care from yacht cleaning to managing every last detail, depending on customer needs. They are available for caring for, power and sail, privately owned or chartered vessels. ShipSHape PYC is highlighting the ShipSecure Program aimed at any owner, who has a boat, but does not have the time to dedicate to caring for their vessel at the level they would like to. When enrolled, a customer will receive a monthly check of their vessel. There are three levels of checks to choose from ranging form exterior only to a full exterior and interior check. Provided with this service is peace of mind that your yacht is afloat and in good condition as well as photos and an emailed report of all findings. Shipshape PYC is your one stop for all your yachting needs, from oil changes to canvas repair, and even managing large scale repairs so you don’t have to. Elaina Thompson has worked within the marine industry for six years at a local Bellingham company where she managed the charter fleet and she also sold quality used/new yachts. She holds a degree in Communication from WWU, and has over 10 years experience working in the customer service industry. Elaina enjoys teaching new customers about the joys of boating - and she is currently working on obtaining her USCG 6-pack license. Her experience and meticulous attention to detail is a win-win in yacht service industry.
Nicole Chatfield has worked in the marine industry for over three years, managing finances for a local business as well as selling yachts. She has honed her customer satisfaction skills over the past twelve years, and has a degree in Anthropology, with a minor in Psych. She has been around sail and power boats for most of her life and brings with her passion for boating. Excellent customer service is the driving force behind her many successes.
David Thompson brings with him fourteen years of sales and marketing experience and over eighteen years experience in the customer service industry. He recently relocated to Bellingham from Portland, OR where he was a national event director handling all project management for high end clientele. David's ability to listen and understand the needs of his clients have resulted in longstanding relationships and he looks forward to utilizing his experience to serve future yacht owners.
